Arrival Info

  • ROOM KEYS
    • When you arrive, check in to the El Caribe front desk to get your room key.
  • ARRIVAL DATES
    • January 6/7 (IBS & NSO)
      New Staff Orientation participants (who have not been commissioned yet) taking IBS classes (along with their Senior Staff spouse/fiancé) arrive
      **Please Note** This is not for Returning New Staff who have already been commissioned.
      • You are encouraged to arrive on January 6 to allow enough time to prepare and get settled for this four-week conference. If you choose to arrive on January 7, please ensure that you arrive at the El Caribe by 5 p.m.
    • January 24 (NSO ONLY)
      Campus Ministry       New Staff Orientation Participants arrive
      • If flights won’t work for you to arrive at the El Caribe on January 24, you are welcome to arrive a day early. Be sure to note the date in your registration.
    • January 25 (NSO ONLY)
      All Other       New Staff Orientation Participants arrive
      • If flights won’t work for you to arrive at the El Caribe on January 25, you are welcome to arrive a day early. Be sure to note the date in your registration.

Transportation

(Note: You’ll find life at NSO a bit easier if you have your own vehicle.)

ARRIVING BY PLANE:
Please make sure your flight arrives so that you will have plenty of time to get to the El Caribe for registration.

It is very convenient to fly directly into Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), but often tickets are cheaper flying into Orlando (MCO), Sanford (SFB), or Jacksonville (JAX), even including cost of transportation to Daytona Beach.

SHUTTLES:

  • Groome transportation provides daily service between Daytona and Orlando, including Orlando (MCO) and Sanford (SFB) Airports. You will need to make your reservations at least 2 days in advance. You can reach GROOME at (386) 257-5411 or at  groometransportation.com/daytona.
  • Mears transportation (mearstransportation.com)
  • Uber/Lyft
  • Additional Suggestions:
      • You may be able get a better rate if you book a shuttle as a group.
      • It can be cheap to share a rental car with a group.
      • You can also search the web for shuttle service from local airports.
